12th November 2018, Cambridge UK, Si-Safe Ltd announced today the completion of their acquisition of Silicon Safe Ltd, manufactures of cyber-security hardware. The award-winning product Password:Protect embeds traditional software functions into hardware where they cannot be altered by hackers. “We are very excited to have acquired the Silicon Safe technology and will be commencing development of a hosted password storage service based on the highly secure on-prem Password:Protect product” said Bhavesh Mehta, Chief technology Officer at newly incorporated Si-safe Ltd. The new company will continue to use the Silicon:Safe branding and future products will be based on the patented Secure Storage platform. “I am pleased that the incredible technology will continue to be developed under the new company” said former Chairmen Charles Sharland, who is stepping down from the board with immediate effect.
